My cousin Mike Dawes is an amazing guitarist. Things broke wide open for him in the summer of 2012 with his cover of Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ and have only progressed since then
These might be a lil rough for your tastes, but here goes:
Filippa Nassil
Band: THUNDERMOTHER (Sweden)
Doesn't do much technically shocking, but she has absolutely perfect taste and tone for the hard rock her band does.
Nick Lee
Band: Moon Tooth (NY, USA)
The closest thing to an EVH- style virtuoso in heavy music today. Innovative techniques, fiercely skilled at the things you'd expect.
Henry(?)
Band: Robert Jon and The Wreck (CA USA)
I keep getting his name wrong, but he's a wonderful Southern Rock-style player who has chops to burn, yet the taste not to use them all all the time. RJTW is always a good time to check out, they tour worldwide.
If we say Derek, then Susan Tedeschi is right up there with him. Plus she sings! And Carolyn Wonderland is HOT.

Richard Thompson - yes 👍 I’ll need to listen to the others now, which I’m sure will be a pleasure.
